Lynn Clark
Lynn Clark was first elected to the Hickory Creek Council in 2007 and served as Mayor Pro-Tem from 2010 to 2015. The Town Council appointed her Mayor in 2015 to fill a vacancy, she was re-elected to the position in 2016, and continues to serve today. In addition to her Council duties, Clark serves on the Hickory Creek Economic Development Corporation.
Continuing Efforts
She has worked with Precinct 3 Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell and other Denton County Commissioners to represent Hickory Creek's interests at the county level.
Clark currently serves on Denton County Judge Andy Eads' Mayors Council, Board of Directors of PediPlace and United Way Mental Health Behavioral Leadership team. She is also an active member of the Lake Cities Chamber of Commerce.
Education
Clark graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin (Odessa, TX), with a degree in History and Literature.
Personal Life
She is married to Bob Clark, a retired Southwest Airlines captain. They have 2 sons and daughters-in-law and 8 grandchildren.
