Adopt-A-Street
To get started, fill out the Adopt-A-Street form. You will be contacted with more information about the program.
The Public Works Department supplies trash bags. Of course, they will also pick up the filled bags when you call for collection. Please leave these bags next to the Adopt-a-Street sign. Contact the Public Works Director at 469-576-5094 for more information.
You commit to cleaning up ½ mile stretch of road (both sides = 1 mile) within the Town limits for 1 year. You also commit to clean this stretch of road 6 times during that year. Contact the Public Works Director at 469-576-5094 for more information.
Boards and Commissions
To get started, submit a Volunteer Board Member Application. The application allows you to rank the Boards, Commissions or Committees according to your areas of interest. The Council will consider all applications and appoint members.
In order to serve on a Board, Commission or Committee you must be a Hickory Creek resident for six (6) months and a qualified voter. No experience is necessary, but if you have a background in the area you have an interest in, it will be helpful. To get started, submit a Volunteer Board Member Application.

As a volunteer your expertise and recommendations will be utilized by Town Council and Town Staff to shape the future of Hickory Creek. Fire Services
It is against the law to use fireworks within the town limits.

No. By default, the search results will show matches for any word within the phrase. In this example, you would receive results for all web pages and documents that contained either the word alarm or the word permit or both.
In order to search on an exact phrase, enclose your search phrase in quotations. The search results for "alarm permit" will show matches for that exact phrase.
Yes. You can exclude words by using the minus sign (-). In order to find the results of all pages that have alarm in the result but not permit, you would search for alarm -permit.
