Garage Sale Permit

By signing this form, I hereby certify that I have read and examined this application and know the same to be true and correct. I understand that a permit is required for all garage sales, the permit number must be clearly displayed on every sign, signs shall be removed immediately after completion of sale, a total of 5 signs are permitted, permit must be displayed at sale location, all signs must be in compliance with sign ordinance. Signs cannot be moving or illuminated and they must include type of sale, dates, times, address, and permit number. Signs may not be placed on public right of ways, including medians, on telephone or utility poles or on any traffic control device. Complete rules for conducting an occasional sale can be found in the Code of Ordinances Chapter 14 Article XXV.
