Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility (No Insurance)

Show proof to the court of active insurance on the date of the citation, and after verification, citation will be presented to the Judge for dismissal with no fee.

Expired Registration

Dismissal fee of $20 may be assessed with the following required conditions:

  • Must show proof of payment of late registration fee to County Assessor-Collector
  • Correct violation and present proof to the court before the defendant’s due date listed on citation

Expired Drivers License

A dismissal fee of $20 may be assessed with the following required conditions:

  • Correct violation and present proof to the court before the defendant’s due date listed on citation

Failure to Display Driver’s License

A dismissal fee of $10 may be assessed with the following required conditions:

  • Valid driver’s license must be presented to the court before the defendant’s due date listed on citation

Fail to Report Change of Address or Name

A dismissal fee of $20 may be assessed with the following required conditions:

  • Correct violation and present proof to the court before the defendant’s due date listed on citation

Defective Equipment
Dismissal fee of $10 may be assessed with the following required conditions:

  • Correct violation and present proof to the court before the defendant’s due date listed on citation

Instructions for providing proof for compliance dismissals to the court via e-mail:

* Enter Citation Number in the subject line

* Submit proof of compliance by attaching a scanned document or a picture

* Enter defendant’s address and phone number in the e-mail

* Once the court receives and verifies the compliance documentation, the defendant will receive an e-mail with a link to pay the dismissal fee(s).  The case will not be dismissed until the dismissal fee(s) is paid. Once the insurance is verified and is proven to be valid at the time the ticket was issued, the case will be dismissed.
