The Town of Hickory Creek offers a prime location for access to higher education facilities.

Colleges

North Central Texas College is located 5 minutes away in the city of Corinth and offers 2-year degrees and certificates of completion. NCTC was established in 1924 and has since grown to a full-service community college.

Universities

The University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University are the largest universities of North Texas. Both are located within a 15-minute drive to Denton. In addition, the DFW Metroplex is home to over 20 colleges and universities including:

Hickory Creek is located within the Lake Dallas Independent School District (LDISD).
