Place 3 - Chris Gordon
I have proudly been a volunteer Hickory Creek Council member since May of 2007. I was re-elected in May 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and have proudly served the citizens of Hickory Creek. It’s been my honor to work as a community liaison listening to your concerns and driving resolution to many of your needs.
I represent you by attending, leading and organizing multiple boards, committees, state and Federal agency hearings, and community related activities. I look forward to serving the next two years and to continue down the path of conservative smart growth. I will drive quality results from TX DOT during the I-35 expansion and continue to lead tough negotiations with town vendors, project bidders, and engineers. I am passionate about my town and my neighbors, I volunteer to serve you.
My family and I live in the Lakeview at Pointe Vista neighborhood where I previously served as the first home owner on the developer board of directors. In 1995 I earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Chemistry. I am the Vice President of Strategic Affairs and International Business for Statlab Medical Products in McKinney, Texas. I serve on the School board for the private school that my daughter attends, love to boat and play softball every Friday during the 5 seasons. I also own a sports memorabilia store (The Cowboy House) that supports the Lake Cities area, and last year we donated to over 70- 501c3 organizations to help our community.
My wife Jennifer is the owner of Quick Ship Pack and Mail Center that also supports the Lake Cities area. She serves as an alumni Lake Cities Fire Citizens Academy volunteer, and a coach for Lake Cities Soccer Association, and school room mother. We have a beautiful daughter named Emma who was born in August 2006 and is the joy of our life.
