  1. Administration

    The Administration Department is responsible for overall town operations.

  2. Animal Services

    Animal Services strives to maintain a low-kill shelter. The employees and volunteers are dedicated to the welfare of animals and proud to be “The Little Shelter with a Big Heart.” It is our goal to continually review and evaluate animal protection and control issues, needs, services and facilities for the Town of Hickory Creek.

  3. Code Enforcement

    Code Enforcement responds to concerns from citizens that affect the quality of life within the city such as zoning, overgrown lots or yards, inoperative vehicles, maintenance of structures, illegal signs and public nuisances.

  4. Fire Department

    The Lake Cities Fire Department provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of Corinth, Hickory Creek, Lake Dallas, and Shady Shores.

  5. Municipal Court

    Hickory Creek Municipal Court of Record is responsible for the adjudication of Class C misdemeanors punishable by fine only, and town ordinance violations under Article 4.14 (C.C.P.). The court conducts trials, collects fines, and issues warrants of arrest.

  6. Parks & Recreation

    The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality “TCEQ” issued TPDES General Permit Number TXR040000, requiring small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System “MS4s” to apply for authorization to discharge stormwater to surface waters in the State of Texas, defined as Waters of the United States.
